As I journey deeper into my Crone years, I have wondered at my pathway and how that may look now. My love of writing is the key to my past, my present and my future however that may look for me. It’s a way of expression that serves me well.

I love to write. Poems, short stories as metaphors, social media posts, meditations, my journal and whatever else may come my way. I started my love of writing way back in primary school and as I grew into adulthood, life stopped it awhile. I began writing again when I was almost forty years old and I haven’t looked back.

As I dive deeper into more of who I am in my late sixties, I find I am writing more than ever and that is my journey now. To share with you what comes through my own creative spirit.

We all have pathways to walk, lives to live and self discovery is a big part of that journey. I have taken women on many wonderful inner journeys in my life. My way is to offer time out of time. Now it is through my new books of poems and short stories, telling anyone who wants to listen about the value of the Crone, and promoting the feminine spirit through all of my books, poems and writings.

I’m not here on this earth in this earthly body to compete with anyone. I’m here to be me and fulfill my own destiny in whatever way that presents itself.

Currently as well as a writer, I am a ‘sometimes’ potter of perfectly imperfect wabi sabi inspired pottery. I am a gardener who fights a constant battle with weeds, so they often win. I am a wife, mother, mother-in-law and gran. I am the sum of everything I have lived so far and that makes me fabulously perfectly imperfect, just like you. Who I am in my present and the collection of my past stories shapes whatever my future may look like from here.
